Earlier this week, Billie Eilish and Rosalía teased their long-awaited collaboration, titled ‘Lo Vas A Olvidar’. Now the song has finally arrived alongside a hazy and atmospheric music video directed by Nabil.
“Lo Vas A Olvidar” marks the first collaboration between the two, also featuring the production of Eilish’s brother and longtime producer Finneas. The song also sees the “Therefore I Am” singer performing in Spanish for the first time, alternating with Rosalía.
The pair have built a lot of anticipation for the new release, since Rosalía revealed they were working together in March 2019, tweeting “Can’t wait to finish our song” alongside a photo from the studio. “It’s like the longest prep period on Earth,” Eilish told Zane Lowe in a recent Apple Music interview. “We wrote most of the song in January 2019. It’s been a long, long time ago.”
If that didn’t get us excited enough, it was also recently revealed that “Lo Vas A Olvidar” is set to feature in an upcoming Sam Levinson special. Euphoria. Airing on HBO on January 24, the episode will focus on Hunter Schafer’s Jules, who can be seen reflecting on his relationship with Rue (Zendaya) on a clip of the new song in a recent trailer.
