Beyoncé joins TikTok, bringing her full music catalog to the app

Queen Bey is now on TikTok.

Pop superstar Beyoncé has joined the short-form video app (link) – and her entire catalog is now available for TikTok users to use as backing sounds for their creations. Songs include her new single, “Break My Soul,” and hits like “Halo” and “Single Ladies.”

Beyoncé just released her first TikTok, a compilation of creative user-generated content inspired by her music and personality, thanking all of her fans on the platform for supporting her and promising great things to come.

“Seeing you release the wiggle made me so happy!” Beyoncé writes in the caption. “Thank you so much for all the love you have for BREAK MY SOUL! – Love B”

Beyoncé has already amassed over 3.3 million followers on TikTok as of Thursday morning.

“Break My Soul” is the lead single from Beyoncé’s seventh solo studio album “Renaissance,” which is set to arrive July 29.

The album will contain both dance and country tracks, Variety reported, with contributions from hit songwriter Ryan Tedder, who co-wrote his 2008 hit “Halo” as well as hits for Adele, Taylor Swift, the Jonas Bros. and his own group, OneRepublic.

By joining TikTok, Beyoncé is expanding her already formidable social media presence. The 28-time Grammy-winning singer has 268 million followers on Instagram, 56 million on Facebook, nearly 25 million YouTube subscribers and 15.5 million Twitter followers.

Beyoncé is the only artist in history to have her first six studio albums reach the top of Billboard’s album chart. “Renaissance” is the artist’s first drop of new solo music since his 2016 “Lemonade”; the upcoming album’s subtitle, “act i”, suggests it will be part of a larger or multi-part project.
