Following Renaissance, was billed as a country album. Alongside the announcement of the upcoming release, Beyoncé also shared two singles – “16 Carriages” and “Texas Hold ‘Em” – which are available exclusively on the streaming service Tidal.
The commercial showed Beyoncé trying to find ways to break the Internet by making a film called Barbey; create a hologram called Beyonc-AI; showing herself running a presidential campaign for Botus, and also as the first woman to perform in space. After that, she said, “Okay, they’re ready. Ditch the new music. I told you all Renaissance it is not finished.”
When she released Renaissance in 2022, the album was accompanied by a letter in the liner notes, which read: “This three-act project was recorded over three years during the pandemic. A moment to stay calm, but also a moment that I found the most creative.
Following the release of her seventh studio album, Beyoncé broke the record for the most Grammys won by an artist in the history of the awards show. She also released the concert film, Renaissance: a Beyoncé film.
