Last Friday, Evan Funke’s ambitious Hollywood restaurant, Mother Wolf, was packed. This is not surprising given the celebrities already spotted and the positive media coverage of the Roman-influenced restaurant. Sitting discreetly in the corner was power couple Beyoncé and Jay-Z, and Eater LA can back up that sighting, as the team sat 15 feet from their table.

Whenever onlookers tried to approach the table, security dissuaded them from letting Mr. and Mrs. Carter dine in peace. Funke regularly checked the table, as the couple drank wine and mostly sat during the lengthy date. No word on what they ordered to eat.
