The happiness of the newlyweds! Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck tied the knot – twice! — over the summer, and an insider tells Us Weekly that the duo can’t stop smiling.
“Ben and Jen are still in their honeymoon phase,” the source said exclusively. We of the Hustlers the 53-year-old actress and 50-year-old Oscar winner. “They are very crazy about each other.”
The couple – who got engaged for the second time in April after rekindling their romance last year – tied the knot in July in a low-key ceremony in Las Vegas. In August, the couple had a second wedding at the Affleck Georgia home with their friends and family in attendance.
The duo flew to Paris and Italy, respectively, for two honeymoons after their first and second weddings, but the insider says the wedding otherwise didn’t make much of a difference in the way the couple feels towards each other.
“Becoming husband and wife didn’t change their relationship much, except it solidified what they had,” the source explains. “They are looking for houses to buy together and hope to find one that both of them will like. It has been an ongoing process.
The Goodwill hunting The “Waiting for Tonight” screenwriter and singer has also been busy balancing their career and family life. Lopez shares twins Max and Emme, 14, with her ex-husband Mark Anthonywhile Affleck shares daughters Violet, 16, and Seraphina, 13, and son Samuel, 10, with his ex-wife Jennifer Garnier.
“Jen works hard filming, and Ben took over from dad and helped out a lot with the kids,” the source explains. “She loves that he’s such a great dad and she can always count on him. He was very supportive and visited her on set, which she loves.”
The children, meanwhile, have fun getting to know their new siblings.
“The kids all get along great and love spending time together like a whole family,” the insider said. We. “[Ben and Jen] look forward to the holidays ahead and share traditions together and create memories as Afflecks.
Lopez, for her part, gushed about the couple’s second marriage in a September edition of her newsletter. “‘This is heaven. Here. We are here now,’ she wrote at the time. “This is one of my favorite lines Ben wrote from a movie he directed entitled Live the night. He also said it the night of our wedding reception in his speech, and I thought, “How perfect.”
