WACO, TX (FOX 44) — The Baylor men’s basketball team officially strengthened its backcourt Saturday, as the program announced the addition of Duke transfer guard Jeremy Roach.
Roach comes to Waco after playing four seasons at Durham, where he started more than 18 games each season for the Blue Devils.
He also became one of the team’s most reliable scorers during his time in Durham, where he averaged over 13.5 points in each of the last two seasons.
Roach becomes the first transfer of the offseason for Baylor, as the Bears filled a need for a point guard following the departure of RayJ Dennis, who led the team in assists last season while also finishing second in score.
