It was Williams’ third trip to Hungary. She helped USA win the FIBA ​​U17 Women’s World Cup (5×5) in July.

The United States went 7-0, winning four pool matches and three group matches.

Williams was the tournament’s leading scorer with 59 points. Alicia Florez of Spain was the second highest scorer with 50.

Williams led the United States in points in five games and tied for the highest single-game honors.

She was named All-State Class 5A Team Outstanding Player and Louisiana Gatorade Player of the Year.

She was also one of five finalists for Mike’s Naismith Jersey Player of the Year, a national award.

Williams committed to LSU earlier this summer.
