Baroness Floella Benjamin looks youthful as she dons a black mesh swimsuit in Barbados

Baroness Floella Benjamin and her husband Keith Taylor enjoyed a romantic beach trip to Barbados on Saturday.

The former Play School presenter, 72, looked amazing in a black mesh swimsuit while strolling outside their hotel.

She accessorized with chunky silver jewelry, while hiding her face behind a pair of stylish sunglasses.

Floella, who married Keith in 1980, appeared to be makeup-free, showing off her natural beauty on the outing.

Meanwhile, her husband Keith went shirtless and donned a pair of blue boxer shorts while lounging by the sea.

It comes after Floella described the surreal night she was seduced by the late David Bowie when he offered her ‘the world’ at a party before his wife Angie proposed to her.

She claims she was swept away by David “at the height of his fame” at a Christmas party in 1973 before coming to the attention of Angie who had an open marriage to David, according to The Mirror.

Writing in her new autobiography What Are You Doing Here?, she claimed the Starman singer said to her, “Would you like to ride with me? I want to give you the world. You can have anything you want.

Floella added that she had been “joking since about the night I turned down David Bowie.”

The star was starring in Jesus Christ Superstar at the time and another cast member who had worked as David’s backup singer invited her to the party.

It was in the Chelsea home that David shared with his wife Angie, now 72, and their son Duncan, now 51.

Other guests at the star-studded celebration where Floella said she felt like “Alice in Wonderland” included Mick Jagger, Cat Stevens and Marc Bolan.

Floella added in her book: “When David Bowie walked into the room, lean and charismatic, all eyes were on him. He came straight to me and bowed. “Will you grant me this dance?” he said.’

She wrote that she was amazed to be led onto the dance floor by David, admitting that although she doesn’t remember the song, she knows it was a slow number and he was holding her against him, adding: “I never forgot the way he moved.”

Former children’s TV host Floella went on to explain how her night took an unexpected turn when David’s wife Angie took a liking to her.

Floella wrote how Angie watched her “float around the room” before announcing, “Well, now I saw my New Year’s present!”, Floella saying she felt “vulnerable” while stating that the situation “was not his stage”.

David and Angie had an open marriage before their divorce in 1980.

David died on January 10, 2016 at his home in New York. having suffered from liver cancer for 18 months.
