Bachelorette: Brooke Blurton Undergoes Dramatic Hair Transformation After Darvid Garayeli Split

She went through a very public breakup with her Bachelorette winner Darvid Garayeli earlier this month.

And on Tuesday, Brooke Blurton revealed she’s undergone a hair transformation in light of her split – and left the choice of her new style up to chance.

The 26-year-old visited a salon in Melbourne, where she blindly chose between two options written on scraps of paper before finally revealing her finished look of a skin-tight dark brown bob.

As her eyes were closed, Brooke was given a choice between copper or brunette — choosing the latter — before choosing short hair instead of long, and curtain bangs instead of no bangs.

The complete look was a deep chocolate brown bob that barely reached her shoulders and short curtain bangs to shape her face.

Brooke and Darvid announced their separation earlier this month.

And on Thursday, she revealed the real reason she ended her relationship with the 27-year-old landscaper.

In a post shared on Instagram, Brooke said her romance with Darvid was like living in a “pressure cooker.”

“As you all know, Darvid and I have separated. Darvid on 2/1 came online and publicly announced that we had separated,” she began.

“In an ideal world, I would have preferred to have a mutual agreement and/or have a say in when/how we express this to the public, but instead I was woken up by this news that left me. was obviously a little shocked. This is where you saw my reaction.

“Some much needed TLC for my hair and for my soul,” Brooke concluded.

“But Darvid had every right to make that decision, his platform, he can choose that himself. I’d say it’s better to tear off the bandage.

Brooke went on to say that it was her choice to end their relationship.

“My reasons for this are completely valid for me. I had been unhappy for a while and it wasn’t just because of the relationship. I have a lot of respect for Darvid and what he gave up for. that I’m IN the relationship, but it seems like we both got lost along the way,’ she continued.

“We had very real love in a very unreal situation, but we also had a LOT of pressure on us too. Which I felt I wore every day. When the show started I was the best version of myself and when the show ended and my sister died. I became my worst and my saddest.

Brooke said she and Darvid “ended up being two different people who wanted different things and that’s just that.”

“No cheating, no hate, just a pressure cooker. We’re as friendly as you can be during a healing process. I still love him very much and don’t regret choosing him. I wish just for the world to be a little kinder to us in the time we have.

She added: “I wish him all the best and with support I would really like to move past this and hope that we become the best versions of ourselves this year.”

Darvid announced his split from Brooke in an Instagram post on January 2.

“Starting the new year with the end of one chapter and hopefully the start of another,” Darvid began.

“Unfortunately, Brooke and I broke up. While we both honestly thought we were each other’s person, things are changing and that’s okay.

He continued, “Please respect our privacy and that at the end of the day we are just people with real feelings.”

“Thank you so much for being considerate, lots of lessons learned,” he concluded.

Following Darvid’s announcement, Brooke admitted she was “surprised” he decided to share the news publicly without her knowledge.

“Unfortunately, Brooke and I broke up. While we both sincerely thought we were each other’s person, things change and that’s okay,” he said.
