Bachelor candidate Juliette Herrera has revealed that losing her father at the age of 26 has shaped her life.
Speaking to 10 Play this week, the 34-year-old revealed he was only 18 when her father was diagnosed with motor neuron disease, rendering him unable to communicate until his ultimate death.
The loss led the Sydney stylist to cut herself off from love and relationships and has been single for 12 years.

“I never told a guy I love him, I never chased a guy, I’m just sitting at home… dancing in the house,” she admitted.
She added: ‘I don’t know what it is for a man to love me, take care of me and care about me.
“I don’t know what it’s like to have someone take care of you, or to see how your day is going or what your dreams are.
