Prediction Atletico Madrid vs Red Bull Salzburg
Atletico Madrid have had a good start to the campaign and remain undefeated in La Liga. However, they were beaten 4-0 by Bayern Munich in their first group game, and will need a strong performance against Red Bull Salzburg to ensure they don’t find themselves in a precarious position.
Red Bull Salzburg, on the other hand, has been making a splash over the past year, with Takumi Minamino and Erling Braut Haaland the main reasons for this. The two forwards left for Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund respectively, and in the likes of Patson Daka, Sekou Koita and Dominik Szoboszlai, the Austrian giants have found their new generation of ultra-talented youngsters destined for the top.
Red Bull Salzburg should not be reduced. A talented side with a good manager, they are more than capable of creating problems. A shock could be on the cards in this meeting.
Prediction: Atletico Madrid 0-2 Red Bull Salzburg
