Ash Barty stuns on the cover of Australian Vogue as she models monochrome outfits

Tennis star Ash Barty graced the cover of Australian Vogue this month, swapping her tennis outfits for high-end fashion in a glamorous photo shoot.

Barty, who at 25 is the world’s number one tennis player, exuded elegance as she posed in monochrome outfits from the brands Polo Ralph Lauren, Matteau and Worn Store.

She accessorized her understated outfits with Tiffany & Co jewelry and Mara & Mine mules.

In the edgy editorial, the brunette can be seen posing on a concrete rooftop with the clear blue sky serving as the backdrop.

Letting her outfits do the talking, Barty wore simple makeup consisting of bronze eyeshadow and subtle blush, while pulling her hair up into a minimalist bun.

In several photos, Barty was seen bouncing a ball off her tennis racket.

Barty’s glamorous photo shoot was accompanied by a rare interview about her personal life, including her romance with fiancé Garry Kissick.

“He’s extremely patient with me, and when we met he didn’t know much about tennis,” she revealed.

“He kind of went really deep into understanding what touring is about and how apart we are… [But] he is the best person to have in the sense of detaching himself from tennis and being able to bring fun and laughter.

“I certainly wouldn’t want to share this trip with anyone else,” she added.

Barty announced her engagement to her boyfriend of five years in November last year.

She shared the news in an Instagram post, alongside two photos of the pair cuddled together, with their diamond ring on display.

Ash wrote in the caption, “Future Husband,” alongside a ring emoji.

Golfer Gary, 29, also shared the footage on his own social media, revealing the couple had in fact gotten engaged a week earlier on November 15.

He wrote in his caption: “15/11/2021 love you @ashbarty”.
