Oleksandr Zinchenko graduated from category B as a football coach.
The Arsenal star, who celebrated his 26th birthday on Thursday, joined 27 other players to earn his badges according to reports from Ukraine.
According to Ukrainian media outlet Sports Arena, Zinchenko’s qualification allows him to work as the head coach of a Ukrainian second division team (Druha Liha) and as an assistant in the Ukrainian first division (Persha Liha).
Other Ukrainian players Taras Stepanenko, Vitaly Mandzyuk, Oleg Holodyuk, Ruslan Fomin also studied.
It is understood that the players went through the training course over three sessions in four days.
During qualification, considerable attention was paid to the training of football players under the age of 17.
Zinchenko has missed much of his new club Arsenal’s title charge this season since leaving Manchester City with a knee injury and calf problem.
He returned alongside Mikel Arteta in victories over Chelsea and Wolves before the World Cup.
He was then on course to feature in Dubai this week on their mid-season tour.
However, he was not in the squad during Arsenal’s fixtures against Lyon or AC Milan in the Middle East.
