Arsenal’s move for Jorginho could trigger a domino effect in the transfer window, which could end up benefiting Chelsea.
talkSPORT understands the Gunners have sealed a £12million transfer for the Italian midfielder, who was in the final six months of his contract at Stamford Bridge.

Jorginho is now an Arsenal player, talkSPORT understands
And the deal could see Gunners midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga leave on loan for Crystal Palace, with the Belgian already struggling to earn first-team minutes this season while Eagles boss and Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira , is desperate to strengthen his midfield.
Vieira isn’t just eyeing Sambi Lokonga with Chelsea star Conor Gallagher also top of the list after a sensational campaign at Selhurst Park on loan last season.
There is a lot of interest in Chelsea midfielder Gallagher, but talkSPORT understands the midfielder has no interest in leaving this window.
And that could see Palace looking elsewhere with Sambi Lokonga in their sights.
“I think [Sambi Lokonga deal] will probably happen now,” said talkSPORT transfer expert Alex Crook.

Lokonga has only started two Premier League appearances this season
“Arsenal rejected a loan offer from Monaco earlier in the window, but as they go from strength to strength with the arrival of Jorginho, his playing time is going to be limited.
“The palace needs to bring in bodies, actually. They haven’t come out of the woods in terms of relegation and have been one of the quieter clubs this window.
