Arsenal could sign Dominic Calvert-Lewin with Dusan Vlahovic set to move to Juventus, but Alexander Isak is also an option

Arsenal are reportedly turning their attention to Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Sweden star Alexander Isak as they push to sign a striker in January.

The England international and Real Sociedad man have been identified as ideal replacements for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.

Athletic report that Arsenal will consider alternative options if they fail to secure the signing of Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic, who now appears set to join Juventus.

Calvert-Lewin has been a success at Goodison Park since breaking into the first team but will want to be a challenge in the top half of the table and he could do that with the Gunners.

A move to the Londoners’ north would also boost their chances of earning a place in Gareth Southgate’s England squad for this year’s World Cup.

And Arsenal appear undeterred by the proposed £60m fee for the 24-year-old.

Everton, however, are unlikely to want to do business as they are currently without a manager after sacking Rafa Benitez.

Another option for Arsenal, and perhaps an easier deal to make, is Isak.

The Swedish starlet has a rumored release clause of around £75million.

But his club, Real Sociedad, are fighting for Champions League qualification in La Liga and may therefore, like Everton, not want to sell.

In case the three aren’t available, there’s still a chance that further deals could be agreed with Real Madrid’s Serbian striker Luka Jovic a loan option.
