The San Francisco 49ers are in Mile High City for “Sunday Night Football” against the Denver Broncos. While the team eagerly awaits tight end George Kittle’s 2022 regular season debut in this primetime game, they will be without DL Arik Armstead who was questionable in Friday’s final injury report. Armstead injured his foot in the 49ers’ home opener against the Seattle Seahawks and hasn’t practiced all week. On a positive note, OL’s Colton McKivitz, who suffered an ankle injury earlier in the week, is active for the squad’s Week 3 contest. He was left out of Thursday’s practice and a limited participant in Friday’s practice before the team departed for Denver.
RB Tyrion Davis-Price (ankle), Tyler Kroft (knee) and Daniel Brunskill (hamstring) also sit against the Broncos, who are expected to be out for several weeks as they work on their respective injuries. All three were dismissed on Friday. DL Kemoko Turay was ruled out early Sunday afternoon due to a personal matter. OL Nick Zakelj is a healthy scrap for the team.
