Ariana Grande cried on the last episode of The voice and admitted that she spoke to her therapist about coaching on the show.
The “Positions” pop star was forced to choose which of her team to send home and had to pit Katie Rae against Bella DeNapoli.
As she made her decision, Grande said, “Oh, my God. I hate this so much. I literally told my therapist about it.
She said when making the decision, “I don’t want to get too emotional, but I adore you both so much. You’re both so constantly phenomenal and like, there’s never anything to fix. Every time we performed it it was amazingly perfect.
Grande ultimately chose to save Rae.
Before DeNapoli left the stage, Grande hit her buzzer and also chose to save her so that she would return for next week’s episode as well.
This week’s episode also saw Camila Cabello’s debut as an advisor to coach John Legend. The “Havana” singer assisted his artists Samuel Harness and KJ Clarkson.
The two performed Cabello’s collaboration with boyfriend Shawn Mendes, “I Know What You Did Last Summer”.
Currently in his 21st season, this is Grande’s first year as a coach on The voice.
Fellow trainer Blake Shelton has appeared on every episode of the show while Legend and Kelly Clarkson have both entered the singing competition for several seasons.
