Another day, another way to feel Ariana Grande. Yes really. The “Thank U, Next” singer took her stories to Instagram on August 5 to reveal her latest scent, and we have to have it!
The new scent is named “REM” after Ariana’s popular track Sweetener album. The packaging features an Ariana cartoon in an almost intergalactic look that appears to reference her 2014 music video “Break Free.”
“In my dreams … I’m always the version of myself I was on the loose,” Ariana wrote as she announced the scent. “I’ve always wanted to spend more time as a character / in this world … so maybe that’s what I’ll do. So much to look forward to.” The scent is slated for release later this month on Ulta Beauty.
But this is not Ariana’s first drop of perfume. In fact, it’s his sixth! Her latest drop of perfume, Cloud, played into the singer’s ethereal aesthetic and was so popular that she won the fragrance of the year award at the Fragrance Foundation Awards. Other Ariana scents include Moonlight, Ari by Ariana Grande, Sweet Like Candy and Thank U, Next. They are all currently available on Ulta Beauty.
Obviously, Ariana has a taste for good smells (and worthy of a price) and we expect REM to follow suit. While Ariana has yet to share a specific launch date for the new product, we’re sure she will share it on her Instagram Stories soon – hopefully with a virtual performance of the song too, just to the good old times.
