When you think of Ariana Grande, several things come to mind: an amazing voice, pointy winged eyeliner, and those sky-high ponytails and mid-high hairstyles, obviously. Except Ariana ditched those signature hairstyles in her latest Instagram post – and she looks so different.
The singer has her hair tied back, but it’s not sitting on top of her head as usual. Instead, it appears to be tied in a low ponytail. Best of all, it looks like Ariana’s hair is parted in a zigzag way, just like we wore it in grade school. What nostalgia!
Ariana has been experimenting with different beauty looks recently and we’re here for it. Just recently, she posted a pic without — yes, WITHOUT — her signature winged eyeliner, and we had to do a double take in the beginning. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve backed down so fast before.

Although she has had time to serve up so many fiery looks, Ariana has been very busy lately. She is currently recording her first season as a judge on The voice. She’s also getting ready to shake up our makeup bags with her next rem beauty beauty line.
While Ariana has yet to give fans a preview of the products, she has posted a cool sketch of what her lipsticks will look like. We have to say that this gives us galactic spacecraft vibrations:
I guess it makes sense why one of her more recent photoshoots involved looking like a sexy alien. Ditch the makeup, Ariana. We can’t wait!
