Ariana Grande was recently promoting her new makeup line REM Beauty, which is currently on sale at Ulta Beauty and Selfridges. On August 26, she posted photos and a short video of herself leaving the famous London department store wearing a fun vintage-style look from Prada.
She wore a black bandeau top that left her shoulders and abs bare, which she paired with a green plaid A-line skirt that went down to her ankles. The skirt is from Prada’s Spring/Summer 2022 collection. Co-creative directors Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons want the pieces to have a modern appeal while playing with the dressy cuts of more historic looks.
Below the hem, Grande wore a pair of black pumps to complete the hint of glamor in the ensemble. In the video, she carries one of Selfridges’ well-known yellow bags and approaches an SUV with an advert for her makeup line printed on the door. In a photo carousel on her timeline, she showed off the look, turning to show off her shoulder tattoo to the camera.
Grande had her brunette locks swept back into a ponytail with a side part and some soft long bangs along one side of her face. She kept her makeup very natural, with light eyeshadow and a nude lip.
The singer and actress worked on the film adaptation of the musical Nasty and promoting his line, but that doesn’t mean a new album is on the table. While posting to her REM line in late July, a TikTok fan warned the pop icon, “Please remember you’re a singer.”
Grande responded, writing in a comment, “In fact, I’ve never felt more comfortable in my voice or more like a singer.”
Although she’s clearly comfortable standing up for herself, Grande took a moment to thank fellow fans who stood up for her, writing, “Love you so much.”
