The singer married Gomez in 2021.
Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez are divorcing.
On Monday, the “Thank U, Next” singer, 30, filed for divorce from Gomez, 28, a real estate agent, in Los Angeles.
The couple’s filing shows that Grande initially filed for divorce and Gomez filed a response the same day.
“Good Morning America” has reached out to Grande’s rep and Gomez’s attorney for comment.
Grande, who is currently working on the upcoming film “Wicked: Part One,” married Dalton in May 2021, almost a year after the two became Instagram official.
The couple announced their engagement in December 2020 when Grande posted a photo of a ring with the caption “forever and then some.”
Grande’s rep told People and confirmed to ABC News after their wedding announcement, saying the occasion was “tiny and intimate — less than 20 people.”
“The room was so happy and full of love,” Grande’s rep added. “The couple and both families couldn’t be happier.”
