In a petition Grande filed Monday, she cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
The couple first went public with their relationship in 2020 when Grande released “Stuck with U,” featuring Justin Bieber. The accompanying music video featured Gomez confirming their relationship status at the time.
A year later, the couple tied the knot in 2021 with a “tiny” and “intimate” audience, according to the “thank you, next” singer’s rep. “It was tiny and intimate – less than 20 people. The room was so happy and full of love,” the rep said.
Speculation about the two splitting began in July when Grande was spotted at Wimbledon without her wedding ring.
