Charley Hull won the individual title at the Aramco Team Series in New York – the first Ladies European Tour event to take place in the United States.
It was the 25-year-old’s third LET title, and her first since 2019.
England’s Hull clocked a 65th in the third round – the lowest in the tournament – to finish at 12 under, one stroke ahead of US world number one Nelly Korda.
“I played well the first few days, but today I really did it,” said Hull.
“It was tough conditions there so it’s probably one of the best laps I’ve ever played. I was very proud of myself and to end with a birdie I’m very happy.
“My last win was in 2019, so it’s good to have a win and as the season nears the end of the season, I hope to finish in style.”
In the team event, Jessica Korda led her team – LET players Karolin Lampert and Lina Boqvist, as well as Golf Channel journalist Alexandra O’Laughlin – to victory.
They finished 41 under par before Korda beat Sophia Popov on the second hole in the play-offs to clinch the victory.
The Aramco Team Series – new for 2021 – is the first series of such team events on any professional golf circuit, and sees three professionals teaming up with one amateur.
It takes place on three continents, with previous tournaments in London and Sotogrande, Spain, with one coming to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in November.
