New updates are added at the bottom of this story …

The original story (published August 6, 2021) follows:

Apple Music is without a doubt one of the biggest players in the music streaming industry, with over 75 million songs in its database.

And it looks like Apple wants to overtake Spotify in the years to come. The company recently announced some revolutionary features such as Spatial Audio, Lossless Audio, and Dolby Atmos.

Since then, everything seems to fall apart with Apple Music. People who subscribed to the streaming service reported issues such as songs not matching the Cloud Music library and the back button disappearing while browsing.

Some users also report that they hear crackles when using the macOS app.

It looks like things are going to get worse for Apple. Users report that they are greeted with a “The operation could not be completed“popup with”An unknown error has occurred”With different code names.

Previously, Apple Music users complained that songs loaded up to the 15-second mark and refused to continue. Apple Music’s unknown error problem is surprisingly similar to the 15-second problem.

When I try to play music on my phone, I get the message “An unknown error has occurred (-42812)”. . I am getting the error for lossless and lossless audio. Has anyone found a workaround for this? There is no information in the error message and I am completely unable to listen to Apple Music on my iPhone 8

The only difference is that sometimes Apple Music stops playing the song with an error. An interesting thing to note here is that it is not limited to songs on Apple Music, but also affects the Cloud Music Library.

Users are frustrated that Apple Music has broken even the most basic features, such as listening to their favorite music.

the video below roughly sums up the issues that Apple Music users are currently facing:

At this rate, Apple Music will exceed the number of bugs affecting Cyberpunk 2077.

Many people have already said that they could switch to Spotify or another music streaming service if the issues are not resolved quickly.

We hope that the Cupertino-based company recognizes all issues with Apple Music and works to resolve them. Especially at a time when Spotify is growing rapidly and providing an almost flawless experience.

Update (August 09)

IST 13:32: Reports from a section of Apple Music users say they encounter an unusual error (-42800) when trying to play their downloaded music.

I just changed the battery on my iPhone X today. When I tried to play the songs I downloaded from Apply Music, I got a message: “This operation cannot be completed. Error (-42800) ”. And, I deleted all the songs then tried to stream them, it still shows this error message. I restarted my phone several times and plugged in the cable, but the error persists.
