Apple today released a new Safari 15.1 beta for macOS Big Sur and macOS Catalina, allowing developers to test the new Safari update before it launches. Safari 15.1 is also the version of Safari available in the beta version of macOS Monterey.

In yesterday’s macOS Monterey version, Apple tweaked the design of the Favorites bar, moving it above the tab bar where it was before implementing Safari’s changes with the ‌macOS update. Monterey‌ and Safari version 15. Safari 15.1 includes the same tweak in the favorites bar.

Registered developers can download Safari Beta 15.1 by logging in and then going to the More Downloads section. The latest versions of ‌macOS Big Sur‌ or macOS Catalina are required to install the beta.
