Apple has released the seventh beta of macOS 11.3. The software offers new sorting options in reminders, extended support for Xbox / PlayStation controllers, autoplay in Apple Music, mentions of early Macs Apple Silicon, and more.
macOS 11.3 beta 7 is out now, and the OTA should show up in System Preferences> Software Update if you’re signed up for the Developer Program or Public Beta (keep checking if you don’t see it yet). You can also download it manually from Apple’s Developer site or from the public beta site.
The latest version of macOS Big Sur includes new sorting options in reminders, the ability to set audio output to stereo HomePods as the default, and support for the latest Xbox / PlayStation controllers.
There’s also a new warranty feature in the About This Mac section, a new AutoPlay feature in Apple Music that debuted in iOS 14, and some tweaks to the Touch Alternatives menu.
Ahead of their official announcement, 9to5Mac discovered references to upcoming Apple Silicon iMacs in macOS 11.3 beta 5.
