Apple lands 10 Critics Choice Award nominations

Apple TV+ continues to rack up nominations this awards season, with six of its series nominated for ten awards at the 28th annual Critics Choice Awards.

On Tuesday, the Critics Choice Association announced the nominations for the 2023 Critics Choice Awards, which will be revealed on Sunday, January 15.

“Severance” and “Bad Sisters” were nominated for Best Drama Series, while “Pachinko” and “Tehran” were nominated for Best Foreign Language Series.

Many Apple TV+ stars have also been nominated. ‘Severance’ star Adam Scott was nominated for Best Actor in a Drama Series, while ‘Bad Sisters’ star Sharon Horgan was nominated for Best Actress in a Drama Series.

Ray Liotta and Paul Walter Hauser were each nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or TV Movie for their performances in “Black Bird.”

Samuel L. Jackson was nominated for Best Actor in a Limited Series or TV Movie for his role in “The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey.” Additionally, Dominique Fishback landed a nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or TV Movie for the same series.
