We have a release date for The Mosquito Coast Season 2!
In a tweet, Apple TV+ announced that the second season of the adventure drama series will premiere on the streaming service on Friday, November 4.
As previously reported, Apple renewed The Mosquito Coast for a second season in June 2021, but it took almost a year and a half to actually release that second season.

What will season two be about?
The second season of The Mosquito Coast will continue to follow the story of Allie Fox, an inventor “who uproots his family for Mexico when they suddenly find themselves on the run from the U.S. government.”
From award-winning novelist Neil Cross, and based on Paul Theroux’s bestselling book which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, “The Mosquito Coast” is a gripping adventure and layered character drama following the dangerous journey of a radical idealist and brilliant inventor, Allie Fox (played by Justin Theroux), who uproots her family for Mexico when they suddenly find themselves on the run from the US government.
The seven-episode series is created for television and produced by Neil Cross. Executive producers also include author Paul Theroux, star Justin Theroux, Rupert Wyatt and Edward L. McDonnell. Bob Bookman, Alan Gasmer and Peter Jaysen are also executive producers for Veritas Entertainment Group. Developed by Neil Cross and Tom Bissell, “The Mosquito Coast” is a Fremantle production for Apple TV+.
