A warrant has been issued for former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown, who faces domestic violence charges stemming from a Nov. 28 incident involving the mother of his children, according to FOX 13 in Tampa.

FOX 13 obtained a police report regarding the incident, which indicated that Brown threw a shoe at the alleged victim.

“The suspect exited the residence and threw a shoe at the victim hitting her in the ponytail,” according to the Tampa police report. “The victim was not harmed but believed the shoe was for his head. The suspect would not open the door or come out to speak to officers. The suspect also attempted during this incident to broadcast an informal expulsion to the victim.”

The report also says Brown locked himself inside the house as police tried to talk to him.

The Tampa Bay Weather declared that Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office records indicated that Brown was facing a misdemeanor battery charge and that no bond had been posted at this time.
