It took 59 firefighters and more than an hour to extinguish the blaze that broke out after the crash, the fire department said.
Los Angeles Police Department Officer Rosario Cervantes said Wednesday that the cause of the crash is under investigation and no charges have been filed. She said that after the accident, a warrant was obtained for a blood sample taken the day of the accident.
“The investigation is continuing pending the blood result,” said Officer Cervantes.
