Anne Hathaway, in an exclusive interview with IndiaToday.in, revealed which song she would like to dedicate to her Indian fans. The actor is currently promoting his latest film, “The Idea of ​​​​You”, starring Nicholas Galitzine.

When asked which song she would like to dedicate to her Indian fans, she was quick to mention Beyoncé’s latest song from her new album.

She said: “Song-wise, right now I just want to dedicate Beyoncé’s ‘American Requiem’ to the world. Wow. Because I think it’s the most amazing thing. One of the great phrases is “Amen”. So, I just want to say that.”

In March 2024, Beyoncé proudly embraced her Southern heritage with the release of her latest album, Cowboy Carter. Among his tracks was “American Requiem,” a poignant addition inspired by the country genre.

Anne Hathaway is currently busy promoting her latest film “The Idea Of You”. In the film, she plays the role of a 40-year-old single mother, Solène, owner of a small art gallery. The Michael Showlter-directed film also features Nicholas Galitizine as a 24-year-old pop star.

Anne will next star alongside Michaela Coel in David Lowery’s “Mother Mary.”
