On Sunday, Nov. 20, Angelina Jolie was spotted leaving popular vegan restaurant Crossroads in Los Angeles wearing a chic gray-beige coat by Italian designer Max Mara. The outerwear was a cozy cashmere wrap style with a sleek long cut that was cinched at the actress’ waist with a tie belt.
She wore the coat with dark gray wide leg pants and a pair of pink nude heels. Jolie’s long black hair was left over her shoulders with a side parting, and she wore natural makeup with bronzed cheeks and a light pink lip, showing off her flawless complexion.
It was recently announced that the 47-year-old actress will return to the big screen in a new movie. Variety reports she’s signed on to work with director Pablo Larraín, known for his work on the critically acclaimed Princess Diana biopic spencer, starring Kristen Stewart. This biopic will focus on opera singer Maria Callas, and is simply titled Married. The story will cover the timeline of his life until his death in 1977. Screenwriter Steven Knight is handling the story and Juan de Dios Larraín has signed on to act as producer.
“I take the responsibility for Maria’s life and legacy very seriously. I will give everything I can to meet the challenge,” Jolie said in a statement. “Pablo Larraín is a director I have admired for a long time. To have the chance to tell more of Maria’s story with him, and with a screenplay by Steven Knight, is a dream.
Larraín added: “Having the chance to combine my two deepest and personal passions, cinema and opera, has been a long-awaited dream. Doing this with Angelina, an extremely brave and curious artist, is a fascinating opportunity. A real gift.”
