Angelina Jolie is opposing a request from her ex-husband, Brad Pitt, to renounce his previous nondisclosure agreements amid an ongoing legal battle between the two actors. Jolie – who was sued by Pitt two years ago over the sale of the couple’s $500 million Château Miraval wine estate – previously claimed she had decided to sell her stake in company when her ex-husband asked her to sign a strict NDA that would “cover up Pitt’s personal misconduct,” including allegations of domestic violence. Earlier this month, Pitt’s lawyers asked Jolie to turn over her other NDAs to prove whether Jolie could have actually considered Pitt’s request to be “the deal-breaker she later claimed to be.” But the actress is now speaking out against the motion, according to newly filed documents obtained by Page six, calling it “unreasonable” and “abusive.” In previous court filings, Jolie said she left Pitt after he allegedly “inflicted his physical abuse on the children” for the first time on a flight from France in 2016. Jolie sold her stake in 40% in the wine business to Russian oligarch Yuri Shefler in 2021. Shefler has since taunted Pitt in court, calling him an “actor, not a winemaker.”
