Earlier this year, Google announced that it would bring an assistant-based game to Android Auto. It is currently being expanded by adding a collection of touchscreen games to play on Android Auto from GameSnacks in Area120.
Android Auto’s first gaming initiative with the Google Assistant focuses on games that you can play with your own voice, such as Jeopardy and Trivia Crack. These have the obvious benefit of being able to keep tabs on the move and make the Google Assistant a bit more fun.
But what if you sit in a parked car for a few minutes waiting for a store pickup or a friend? Android Auto’s entry into the latest games unlocks the automotive infotainment system and turns it into a tablet for playing simple games. However, only if the car has a touchscreen.
With the latest beta update for Android Auto version 6.7, the launcher has a new icon titled “Game Snacks”. Tap on it to access a collection of 8 simple games developed by Google’s Area 120, Zoo Boom, Cannonballs 3D and 2048 Giant.
Each of these games is designed to be played against existing games by simply tapping the screen. Mobile Optimized Version The GameSnacks team has taken the time to optimize every game they play across the landscape.
GameSnacks games are hosted on the web and built in HTML5. In other words, you need an internet connection to start playing. Please play in the parking lot and do your best. Most importantly, for your safety, Android Auto will not allow you to play GameSnacks unless your car is parked.
From the minutes we’ve played, each of these games is incredibly fun and an easy time-killing way for players of all ages.
