West Ham will face Belgian side Anderlecht in the Europa Conference League on Thursday as they aim to continue their winning streak.

David Moyes’ side have won their last four games in Europe, which is their longest career in UEFA competition.

The Hammers beat Wolves last time out in the Premier League to claim a crucial win after three league games without a win.

They now come up against Anderlecht who are behind the Londoners in second place in Group B.

However, the Violets and Whites are only 10th in the Belgian Pro League after a disappointing start to the campaign.

This Conference League clash will take place on Thursday, October 6.

The match at Lotto Park in Belgium will start at 5:45 p.m.

Anderlecht vs West Ham: Team news

Former Spurs defender Jan Vertonghen is expected to be one of Anderlecht’s back three.

However, the Belgian side will remain without Marco Kana and Adrien Trebel.

Maxwel Cornet would have been likely to start for West Ham but after being substituted in the first half at the weekend he is now a doubt.

Full-back Ben Johnson is in contention to return after recovering from injury.

Hammers boss Moyes is happy with his squad ahead of the game but wary of a tough game tonight.

He said: “I think we wanted a stronger team of players so we could come to Europe and play against a very strong team. We got almost everyone back.

“I would not disrespect Anderlecht in any way. It’s incredibly difficult to do, to walk away and get results.

“They will want to win, to see a chance to try and overtake us. At the moment we look like the teams with the most points.
