Ana de Armas joins Chris Evans in new Apple Ghosted movie as she replaces Scarlett Johansson
Ana de Armas is set to reunite with Knives Out co-star Chris Evans in a new Apple Original Films film production, Ghosted.
The 33-year-old actress will star in the film, which has been described as a high-profile romantic action-adventure film.
She will replace frequent Evans co-star Scarlett Johansson, who dropped out of the film due to a scheduling conflict, according to Deadline.

Johansson previously worked on a number of projects alongside Evans, including the Marvel films, The Nanny Diaries, and The Perfect Score.
Dexter Fletcher, the man behind Rocketman and Eddie the Eagle will direct Ghosted. Meanwhile, Evans will be the film’s producer and the No Time To Die star will be executive producer.
The script for the film has yet to be revealed.

From Armas has a busy schedule ahead of her, with three films already slated for release in 2022, including Deep Water starring ex-boyfriend Ben Affleck.
She will also be starring again alongside Evans in Netflix’s The Gray Man and is expected to play Marilyn Monroe in Blonde on Netflix.
In addition, she would be the protagonist of the thriller Ballerina, a spin-off from the universe of John Wick.
The story follows a young ballerina turned murderer who seeks revenge for the death of her family. There was a brief appearance of this ballerina character in John Wick’s latest film, John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum of 2019.
Wiseman will direct from a screenplay by Shay Hatten, who co-wrote Parabellum with franchise creator Derek Kolstad and Chris Collins.
