“They both threw us, I was sitting on 1A, he was sitting on 1B – I find it so disgusting and so disrespectful, I was supposed to go to Colorado Springs for training camp and now I’m off. back to New York for another day.
“Now I have to reschedule another plane to go back to training camp, which is really upsetting for no reason and I’m so disgusted that American Airlines is doing this to us and forbidding me to travel.
“I’m sure there must be cameras on the plane that they could see, or someone should see, to see if my coworker was really bad anyway or caused a scene of a way it had to be taken off the plane – I’ve never seen this happen before.
An American Airlines spokesperson said: “Before take off, American Airlines Flight 700, with service from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) to Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW), returned to the door to disembark two customers who allegedly refused to comply with repeated requests from crew members to stow away luggage, put cellphones in airplane mode and meet federal face covering requirements.
