According to a recent report, Alex Rodriguez has purchased a mansion right next to the one he once shared with his ex-fiancée JLo. If the reports are true, then the former Yankee bought Ken Griffin’s property for $18.5 million. The property, called Casa La Bonita, is located at 14 Star Island Drive and is built on approximately 1 acre of land. The house is located right next to the 13 Star Island property that A-Rod and JLo purchased together. Property 13 Star Island has sat empty since A-Rod and JLo left it with no confirmation of its future.

The purchase comes amid rumors that JLo is having marriage issues with her new husband Ben Affleck. And that A-Rod bought the house to try to win it back. Although these are just rumors at this point, many would be happy to see A-Rod and JLo get back together.

JLo and Affleck tied the knot in July this year, a year after getting back together. The couple seemed happy in the early days of the marriage, but rumors of discontent began to surface.
