After more than a decade of loyalty to the Packers, Aaron Rodgers transferred his organization to the New York Jets. While the move was expected after some time, fans still considered it a groundbreaking trade. With Rodgers and a few others going to the Jets from the Packers, fans are sure to have high expectations of Rodgers. But comparing him to Brady and expecting him to emulate the legend would hurt any QB in the league.
After moving to such a stable team as the Jets, everyone will want to see Rodgers pull off a huge feat the same way Tom Brady did when he left the Patriots for the Bucs. Recently on the Good Morning Football NFL talk show, the hosts discussed how it might be fair to have such high expectations of Rodgers.

While it’s obvious that any team with Rodgers should do well, it’s different with the Jets. The Jets treated Rodgers as the missing piece of the puzzle needed to get to the Super Bowl. It’s not much different from what happened when Brady went to the Bucs.
With an established defensive team like the Bucs, Brady just had to come and lead the offense, straight to a Super Bowl. Even the hosts of the show have indicated this. Via the Good Morning Football show, he said, “The Jets should expect a Superbowl to do what Tom Brady does. That’s quarterback level according to Aaron Rodgers.
Plus, it would make sense, considering the kind of success Brady’s prowess has brought to the Bucs. He was able to bring good news to the sick Bucs.

Can Rodgers pull off the same feat Tom Brady did with the Bucs?
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have never been a very winning team in the league. In fact, before Brady, they weren’t even able to make the playoffs. However, after a player like Brady appeared for the Bucs, they were able to qualify for the playoffs after more than a decade of walking away. Interestingly, Brady was also able to bring them their second and only Super Bowl win this decade. And now, Rodgers is expected to achieve a similar feat with the Jets.
