Ally McCoist told talkSPORT that Paul Gascoigne signed up for the Italian version of I’m a Celeb and had him move to Italy.
The Rangers legend could barely contain his laughter when told about Monday’s talkSPORT Breakfast allegations, admitting that his old friend and former teammate was ‘scared of EVERYTHING’.

Gazza has reportedly agreed to be part of the Italian version of the hit series Isola de Famosi – the Island of the Famous – which could see the icon of England and Ibrox potentially spending TWO MONTHS in the Honduran jungle in Central America .
The 53-year-old, who played for Serie A club Lazio in the 1990s, has reportedly undergone extensive mental and physical tests to ensure he can cope with the series.
Ally really hopes the claims are true, saying he’ll be brilliant on the show – whether he’s there for the long haul or after a few days.
So much so that Ally now wants to move to Italy so that she can watch it!
He just feels sorry for the locals if the Gazza whirlwind hits town …

McCoist said Monday morning, as he gasped between long bursts of hysterical laughter: “He’ll either be on the first plane back after 24 hours … or he’ll win it!”
“It’s that simple, there will be no gray area!”
When asked if the England icon had any concerns, McCoist immediately replied, “Yes! He is afraid of everything!
