Alicia Vikander and Michael Fassbender love being able to do without masks in Stockholm

Alicia Vikander and husband Michael Fassbender were making the most of the lack of a mask when they dated in Stockholm earlier this week.

The couple, who married in 2017, were enjoying a romantic getaway in the Swedish capital to celebrate the actress’ 32nd birthday.

Alicia and Michael have lived in Lisbon, Portugal, since their marriage three years ago, where masks are mandatory in closed public spaces and on transport.

However, in Sweden, the couple were able to do without face masks, as it was never mandatory for citizens and tourists to wear the blankets.

While on the go, Alicia opted for an understated ensemble as she covered herself in a loose gray sweatshirt, which she layered with a Louis Vuitton shearling jacket.

Alicia’s brown leather jacket featured suede sections on the sleeves printed with the brand’s iconic logo, as well as a fur lining.

The Tomb Raider star sported her casual look with a pair of black skinny jeans and chunky white sneakers for their outing.

Alicia showed off her natural beauty by putting on makeup, while keeping her brown locks swept from her face in a bun.

Meanwhile, Michael also opted for an elegant but understated outfit, as he wore a navy sweatshirt with dark pants and sneakers.

The X-Men: Dark Phoenix actor accessorized his outfit with a pair of dark sunglasses and a gray tweed baker-style cap.

Earlier this week, the couple, who married in Ibiza in 2017, were spotted checking in at a five-star hotel in the city.

The couple met when they starred together in the romantic drama The Light Between Oceans, released in 2016.

In an interview for the October edition of Elle magazine, Alicia recently revealed that she would love to work with her husband in a movie again.

She said: ‘I would love to work with him someday, but we really are individuals, which I love and think is good in any relationship.

“ We both take roles because it’s a film that suits us, so it would have to be the same if we were to work together again. ”

Known as one of Hollywood’s most private couples, they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony three years ago.

Alicia is next set to star alongside Julianne Moore in The Glorias, a biopic on American feminist icon Julia Steinem, which will be released in the UK in January.
