Alfredo Morelos joins Rangers supporters on the streets of Seville ahead of the Europa League final as thousands of Gers supporters descend on Spain for the Frankfurt clash

Alfredo Morelos may not be in the Europa League final tonight but the Rangers striker wasn’t going to miss the fun.

The Colombian was pictured on the streets of Sevilla with the traveling Gers devotees ahead of their showdown with Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday.

Morelos has not played for Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side since March after undergoing surgery for a thigh injury.

However, the 25-year-old appears to be on the mend, joining the thousands of Rangers fans who descended on the Spanish city ahead of their historic night.

The Scottish Premiership giants can claim a first European title in over 40 years with a win over the Bundesliga side at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium.

Rangers legend and talkSPORT’s Ally McCoist is also part of the party in Spain.

Describing the scenes, he said, “We met thousands of fans, it was awesome last night, it was awesome.

“We were taking pictures, we were hugging the fans, the excitement is absolutely amazing.

“It’s magic, adrenaline. You know, when you can just feel it and embrace it, it’s such a feel-good factor.

Fans will be delighted to see Morelos soak up the atmosphere as the striker enters the final year of his contract at Ibrox.

Rangers have a decision to make this summer, having failed to agree a new contract for their star player – whose future is a source of constant speculation.

The club risk losing Morelos for nothing next summer and they might be tempted to cash in.

If the Colombian international played his last match with Rangers, he will leave as a club legend after being seen with supporters in the streets of Seville.
