The latest reports on Alex’s future Telles are not good from Manchester United’s perspective, the Red Devils and Porto are said to be at a stalemate over the player’s assessment.
The left-back, who scored 13 goals and 12 assists in all competitions last season, has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford recently.
His club, Porto, seem happy enough to sell him as he is in the last year of his contract but only for the right price.
However, Portuguese media claim that this move did not happen due to a contrast in Telles’ assessments between United and Porto.
A Bola, quoted by Sport Witness, reports that United offered 15 million euros, which “does not appeal” Porto.
The report adds that the Portuguese champions currently maintain a ‘face of poker’ and prepare for a ‘game of patience’ and ‘test of nerves’ as they seek to hold at least 20million euros.
Meanwhile, another Portuguese publication, Record, claimed that not much was happening regarding Telles’ move to United.
Record, cited by Sport Witness, indicates that the Brazil international is set to play in Porto’s Primeira Liga clash against Maritimo on Saturday, two days before the transfer window closes.
