And Akon’s latest publicity venture saw him admiring Essex as he hosted a launch party for his TT FREAK EP at Aura Bar.
The Senegalese-American singer was joined by Yazmin Oukhellou at the party, and their unlikely friendship was revealed as they settled into the club together.

Akon also went for a stylish ensemble by opting for an orange fleece and sweater paired with one of his signature oversized chains.
The duo were joined by Jasmin Walia on the night out, who dazzled in a little black dress that hugged her incredible figure.

The Locked Up singer has also been working on plans for a futuristic $6 billion city in his native Senegal, modeled after Black Panther’s Wakanda.

Meanwhile, Yazmin has been working on her mental health and recently revealed she is undergoing therapy for her anxiety as she recovers from the traumatic accident that killed her boyfriend Jake McLean earlier this year.
Yazmin has been open about her recovery and recently shared a photo revealing her scarred arm after injuring it while trying to escape the accident.
The reality star posted the natural selfie on her Instagram page earlier this month and shared a poignant message about the scars.

Yazmin posted under the photo, “Each scar is a reminder not only that you were hurt, but that you survived.”
In the snap, Yazmin, bare-faced, lounging in a white bikini top and striped shorts, posing with her arm raised to reveal her arm.
Yazmin recently vacationed in Marbella, Spain as she continues to heal after the traumatic event that happened in July.

The trip comes after she recounted how she desperately tried to wake Jake after the horror car crash in Turkey that killed him, but he was unresponsive.
In a raw interview, she said she was “heartbroken” for Jake and recounted the horrific trolling she received from people for moving on with her life.
Businessman Jake, 33, was killed instantly on July 3 when his blue Mercedes E-Class sedan plunged from a mountainous road into a ravine in Bodrum, Turkey, while Yazmin who was on the passenger seat was seriously injured.

Yazmin has since revealed the details of that terrible day, describing her attempt to bring him back and her subsequent search for help.
She told The Sun: “I tried to wake Jake, but he wouldn’t wake up. I tried to honk with my foot, but I couldn’t reach him.
“We were in the middle of nowhere and so screaming for help was not good. I knew I had to get out of the car and somehow I found the strength to free my arm by lifting it up with my left hand, moving my right arm up and down for what felt like an eternity until I released him.
She then found a man on the road to help her, but when paramedics arrived, Yazmin said she “already knew in her gut that he was gone”.
“They said they were taking him to another hospital and kept telling me he was alive and fine – I think because they didn’t want to cause me any more distress” , she added.
Yazmin – who now suffers from PTSD, nightmares, flashbacks and panic attacks – went on to explain that she now wonders why she survived, but he didn’t, saying she was in anger that he’s gone but she’s still there.
