After three months of manual exercise and BJJ, Heffernan had full hand mobility.
When it was out of the question to exercise his leg, he polished his hands. When his hands were out of the question, he hardened his legs and polished his ground game. Will Jake Heffernan’s Return to the Cage be a damaged product or the best version of “The Grinder” we’ve ever seen?
We won’t find out until June 20, but if you ask it, the Texas Featherweights are about to wake up abruptly.
“I’m back when it comes to Houston,” Heffernan said. “The king is back in ’45 – that’s what I was, the one I kept in training, and I’m still one of the toughest guys to follow in all of Houston, that’s sure. Just to let everyone know I’m back, it’s gonna be fun and I’m happy to do it.
Watch the return of Jake Heffernan and much more at Fury FC 47, Sunday June 20, ONLY on UFC FIGHT PASS!
