Robbie Lyle of Arsenal Fan TV has admitted that he would rather have Stan Kroenke sell the club than sign both Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe.
Anger from Gunners fans has boiled in recent days over the club’s involvement in the botched European Super League plans.
The north London club are said to have been a founding member of the controversial breakaway plans, which would have guaranteed them a place in the competition season after season.
The six Premier League clubs involved have been forced to withdraw from the plans following a backlash from the football community.
Fans of these clubs were particularly angry and for many Arsenal supporters it was the straw that broke the camels when it came to their absent owner.
Kroenke, who also owns the NFL team, the LA Rams, is rarely seen at the club and has been a source of frustration for fans.
The club apologized on Tuesday night for their involvement, but were signed off by the ‘Arsenal board’ rather than the owner himself.
AFTV’s Robbie called on Kroenke to leave the club.
“Where’s Stan Kroenke?” You own 100% of the club, ”he told talkSPORT 2.
“No one is buying it here at Arsenal. He has to go, he has to go now. His credibility is finished with Arsenal fans.
“What can he tell us now that we would never believe?” A friend of mine said today: ‘Robbie the only thing about it now is a lot of these clubs have lost a lot of money and are going to be in financial trouble now that they don’t will not have this Super League. ” Not that my friend wants to go in.
“I told him that if this summer Stank Kroenke offered us a choice, ‘I’ll buy Mbappe and Haaland or I’ll leave,’ I would say leave and we would stick with what we have.”
When asked if he would be in favor of a point deduction, Robbie said, “I don’t think it affects the wrong people, it affects the fans.
“If six points were deducted from Stan Kroenke, he wouldn’t care. The way he looks at it is “we’re not in the top four, we’re ninth and our only way is to get into the Europa League, so I don’t care.”
“That’s why he was trying to buy his place in this Super League.”
“ Kroenke Out ” was all the rage on Twitter overnight as fans lost patience and Robbie believes the relationship has suffered irreparable damage.
He added, “The relationship is over. There weren’t a lot of relationships initially because what we’ve seen happen in the last couple of days we’ve kind of seen this stuff from the owners over the years. They never speak to anyone.
“Stan Kroenke is known as ‘Silent Stan’ by fans because there is never any communication. We just see an owner who lacks ambition and their only goal is to make a ton of money.
