ABC comedy series Gruen will return in September – with plans already in place for another season next year
The popular comedy show Gruen will return to ABC in September.
The panel series, which offers a light-hearted take on the advertising industry, had previously been the subject of rumors that it faced the ax.
But not only is it returning in the coming months, there are already plans for another season next year, TV Blackbox reports.

Host Wil Anderson was recently announced to host a new show, Question Everything, prompting fans to ask if Gruen had been canceled.
But the ABC has confirmed that Gruen will return to screens in September, with plans to film another season after that as well.
“This is the year everything stopped except advertising. So we can’t stop either. Gruen returns, unmasking marketing secrets faster than a conspiracy theorist in Bunnings, ”one reads in ABC’s iview synopsis for the series.

In addition to Wil, 47, fellow panelists Todd Sampson and Russel Howcroft will also be back for the next series.
This will be the 13th season of the hit show, with Gruen proving to be one of the highest rated and longest lasting programs on the ABC.
But there’s no doubt they’ll have their hands full moving forward, with Wil and the CJZ production team driving Gruen and Question Everything.

Joining Wil on Question Anything will be The Project’s Jan Fran, with the new show premiering as an eight-part series starting Wednesday, August 18.
According to a Mumbrella report on Wednesday, the new show will adopt a quiz panel format and feature a rotating panel of comedians.
The series will “take a look at the week into fake news, misrepresentation, scams, frauds and lies, dissecting the news and sorting fact from fiction every week.”
