AJ Pritchard’s girlfriend Abbie Quinnen has discussed the horrific moment she received the second and third degree in an unnatural fire.
The professional dancer, 23, needed three skin grafts after a video she was shooting with her boyfriend, 26, went horribly wrong and saw a bottle of wine explode and set her hair on fire and his clothes on January 19.
Appearing on Lorraine on Tuesday, Abbie detailed the fears she felt for her life when the fire broke out while AJ spoke about how ‘seconds felt like a life’ as he tried to smother the flames consuming his partner.
She went on to explain that as she recovered, she feared that she would “ never look the same again ” and not be able to return to her dream job.

Last month Abbie was seen for the first time since the burns and when appearing on the chat she marveled at the healing of the skin while AJ called the body amazing.
The duo were trying to recycle a bottle of wine into a vase when the crash happened – which led to a stern warning from Lorraine.
Abbie said: “Back then when I was on fire I just thought, ‘How do I survive, how do I get out of this situation? “So I don’t really remember how painful it was, I think I was just in shock and was trying to think about how do I turn this off.
At the time, Abbie continued, “ I think AJ wanted to do this life hack, this home hack, which everyone did, to find something to do. [in lockdown].

“ We watched the video right before we made it, to watch it step by step and everything and unfortunately it went horribly wrong …
“ I was standing about 4 yards from AJ and he went up, right away he went straight across the room and he grabbed my hair instantly and then unfortunately my body too, my clothes. ”
AJ said: ‘The seconds feel like a lifetime. When Abbie hit the ground and tried to roll over and grabbed a blanket to put out the fire, at the same time I was taking wet towels to put the areas on, calling the ambulance, going to A&E, it was like a year whole ….
“But you just have to do what you have to do in these scenarios. As soon as I handed you over to the professionals at the hospital, I was dead, I broke down.

He said of his recovery: ‘It’s amazing that the hospital, surgeons and nurses have helped so much. The skin is amazing [in how it recovers], while Abbie added, “ I’m doing a lot better than I was for sure. My face is almost healed now.
Abbie said: ‘I think when it happened I was just thinking of the worst, my face will never be the same again, I’m always going to have scars on my body …
“ I’ll never be able to dance or play and do what I love to do, so I immediately thought that was it for me. Fortunately, my face is healing very well.

The couple also shared how Claudia Winkleman and Katie Piper contacted them after their terrible fire accident.
The TV host, 49, whose daughter Matilda suffered horrific burns in 2014, sent her support to the couple as soon as she learned of Abbie’s injuries.
Abbie said: ‘They were absolutely amazing. I think when talking to Claudia I just couldn’t believe what her daughter went through. I think she had 14 surgeries, which is horrible. I hated having three.
Hurt: “ I’ll never be able to dance or play and do what I love to do, so I immediately thought it was for me. Fortunately my face is healing very well ‘
AJ added: “ She gave a lot of tips and different moisturizers [to try]. You read every brochure and everything has something different …
“ Just to be really reassured, you are doing the right thing because you are still doubting yourself. Talking, what Claudia and Katie said, talking to someone because it’s the same with ITV, the Get Talking campaign …
“This is the most important thing. Sitting here helps us as much as it helps others.
