“We were at a friend’s birthday party at a bar in Liverpool called Mosquito. Pete was in there and he just begged me to go out with him!
Peter added: “She came to see me, believe it or not!” It was the first time I scored for Liverpool, against Wigan (December 2005).
“It was a weight lifting me, I had finally scored some goals. Then she came up to me and said, ‘I knew you would score!’ We just started chatting then – and she didn’t. didn’t want to leave me alone (winks) Once I was on the dance floor, it was over!’
