JONESBORO, Ark. (04/19/24) – Arkansas State women’s basketball head coach Destiny Rogers announced Friday the addition of transfer guard Bella Weary to the 2024-25 roster.

Weary began her intercollegiate career at USF before transferring to Daytona State for the 2023-24 season. The Jacksonville, Fla. native averaged 15.1 points per game on 36.6 percent shooting for the Falcons, earning first-team all-Citrus Conference honors.

“We are very excited to add Bella to our team,” said Rogers. “Her belief in our vision and our program makes her a perfect fit. Bella’s ability to score at all three levels makes her an elite addition. We can’t wait to bring her to Jonesboro.”

In addition to points, Weary averaged 29.0 minutes per game with 4.1 rebounds and 2.2 assists during the 2023-24 campaign. She guided Daytona State to a 16-14 record after placing 19thth in the nation for flights and 8th in the conference to score.

Weary enters his first season with the Red Wolves as a redshirt junior and has two years of eligibility remaining.
